Palo Pinto Mountain State Park
Palo Pinto Mountains State Park is an undeveloped 4,000 plus acre state park in Palo Pinto and Stephens county, TX near the City of Strawn. Texas' newest state park (slated to open late 2023 will offer plateaus with beautiful vistas overlooking sheltered canyons. The centerpiece of the park is Tucker lake. This 90 acre lake will be available for fishing, non-motorized boats and swimming. The park will include multiuse trails for hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders.
